I saw this on http://www.dailywireless.org/ - thought it might amuse
some people here:
Wi-Fi is addictive, according to a new survey conducted online by
Kelton Research among adults who have broadband Internet access at
home. It was commissioned by the Wi-Fi Alliance, a global, non-profit
industry association devoted to promoting wireless.
The survey found:
* Almost nine out of 10 Americans surveyed said they would rather
go without Starbucks for a year than give up their Wi-Fi connection
(89 percent vs. 11 percent).
* 83 percent percent agree that using someone else's Wi-Fi without
that person's knowledge is stealing.
* Eight out of 10 said it would be worse to lose their Wi-Fi for a
week than for their team to lose the big game this weekend. (81
percent vs. 19 percent).
Perhaps the Center for Internet Addiction can help.
Cheers,
Zik
