.16a can operate anywhere between 2 and 11GHz, so I assume we'll see 
implementations that require a license, and others which stay in 
unlicensed bands. A quick search returns 2.4-2.4835, 5.725-5.85, 
2390-2400, 5.15-5.25, 5.25-5.35, 5.7-5.825 ... know any others in the 
range?

Also, 802.16 (no a) is for 10-66GHz, which has a license free band from 
59-64GHz
