The main advantage of this as far as I can see is that we get compatable
hardware. It will be interesting to see what the costs are going to
come out as. when I first started looking at this a few months ago the
card was going to set me back ~$180 + and the cradle ~$130+ Now I can
get a card for $50 and a cradle for $65 that will work for my OS of
choice (FreeBSD). it is frustrating too that the cost for PC's is so
much higher than for laptops. Do you know what bundling they are
willing to do for ISA/PCI-PCMCIA cards together? and multi-card
adaptors? (ie, what hardware range are we looking at?)
