We basically need to go all ad-hoc (IBSS) with cards (which as far as I
know is what the general rule is), or all PtMP bridging with APs. 

Either that or find a cheap card/driver combo that can do PtMP bridging.

Anyone know if there's any open type *nix drivers that can do this? (for
that matter, can HostAP do this?).
