Hi Robert,
They are nominal 18dBi, but they seem more like 16 in the field tests. Not
sure of the beamwidth specs, if you're interested, I can drag them out -
from memory they were fairly typical for a panel antenna.
I've got them in 2.4Gig as well, and they reckon that they can supply in
5.4Gig too - I've been thinking about getting some of those too, but there
doesn't seem like a great call for them at the moment.
By the time I get them here (from Taiwan) they cost around abouts $15-$20
Cheers! Mike.

Hi All,
I may as well join in and bring along some stuff to look at. Those bullet
devices look very cool, and I'm most interested to get a look at what is
on-board by way of configuration features etc :)
I've got some bare-bones panel antennas (basically just the 'circuit board'
antenna thing with an sma bulkhead connector. I bought a hundred of the
things because they were cheap, and so now I've got about 95 of them 'spare'
;-)
Cheers!
Mike.

I'll also be bringing along my two new 18dBi panel antennas from City
Technology (~$80 each, no enclosures on the back) for testing/ogling,
maybe we can see how well these would work with the bullet... Anyone
interested?

Thanks Andrew ,
I'll be doing a presentation on Ubiquiti's new fully self contained
Bullet
access point/client device.
This is the device that you just screw onto the back of the antenna ,
plug
in the cat 5.
and for a single antenna node , thats it !
For a multiple antenna node you just ad a router like a wl500g or wrt54g
to
the end of the cat5.
So bye bye to all the hassles with boxes , pigtails , box mountings etc
etc
etc !
Just what we've been waiting for AND there's 1W versions too !
See you there ,
Peter
Vice President.
