I'll be doing a presentation on Ubiquiti's new fully self contained
Bullet access point/client device.
 
This is the device that you just screw onto the back of the antenna ,
plug in the cat 5.
and for a single antenna node , thats it !
 
 
For a multiple antenna node you just ad a router like a wl500g or wrt54g
to the end of the cat5.
 
So bye bye to all the hassles with boxes , pigtails , box mountings etc
etc etc !
 
Just what we've been waiting for AND there's 1W versions too !

Hi all
 
Just a quick reminder that the February Melbourne Wireless meeting and
Swap Meet is this Friday at 7:30pm at the Hawthorn Scout Hall.
 
Entry is now FREE!

The meeting starts at 7:30pm and runs through until 9:30pm, then the
swap meet takes place until late. There is a strong social element to
Melbourne Wireless meetings, including a BBQ with $2 snags and soft
drink available.

Everyone is welcome to attend and bring friends, we'll see you there!
