[MLB-WIRELESS] dwa-510/windoze

I'm having some issues with a dlink dwa-510 and trying to stream  
media.  Every 5-10 seconds regardless of buffering settings, I'm  
getting a pause, signal levels are excellent, its within metres of the  
accesspoint which is a netgear wgr614.

An linux/eeepc in the same location performed far better at this task  
despite being significantly less grunty for the job.

Any ideas where to look for answers?  Guessing its a windoze issue,  
but you never know.
