[MLB-WIRELESS] the Asus WL-600G router?

hi.
has anyone tried this router?
i understand it's an ADSL2+ router with 4 ethernet ports, 1 adsl port, 2 
usb, and one RP-SMA wireless interface.

would it be a good idea installing openwrt or freifunk on it and what 
advantages do you think doing this will have over the stock firmware. my 
main use will just be using it for an ADSL 1 modem for the time being.
