Just looking at the line

Makefile:32: /usr/src/linux/.config: No such file or directory
make: *** No rule to make target `/usr/src/linux/.config'.  Stop.


It looks like it's trying to access the configuration for your kernel, 
which you probably don't have since you don't compile a kernel with a 
default FC3 install.

I haven't worked with fedora for some time, but I suspect you can solve 
this by downloading a kernel source package, configuring and compiling a 
kernel.
