[MLB-WIRELESS] usb wireless adapters with antenna sockets

howdy all quite new to this whole wifi setup but am getting there after 
buying a few bits of ebay
now im in need of a wifi adapter with antenna socket to use in a pc with 
no pci or pcmcia slots so its usb only for that
im waiting to hook it up to a 10db omni so i need one with a external 
connector  or should i just buy a cheap pos and hack
a antenna socket into it after seeing the connectors at jaycar im 
tempted to go this way
