I actually think this is more an example of what people think of free
internet access. They go the leech because it's free. I'd like to ask
of people that when they do stumble across free access points (or even
unsecured ones), use it, but don't abuse it.
At the end of the day, if someone has left an access point open for
people to use, then they won't mind if you check your mail, look for a
movie time, have a chat on MSN or IRC etc. It's when you leech from
someone that people start to enforce restrictions on everyone else.
Not only is it fair to show respect for what someone else is giving
you, it's the nice thing to do.
