Ahh, pragmatism vs ideology...
I thought melbourne wireless was about creating a city wide mesh, not
about being a pure wireless environment.
if using 0 cost internet access can spread the network.....
it may even be usefull for redundant links in the future as well if a
wireless link is a bit spotty during bad weather, etc
