I'd suggest the same way they do the solderless xbox modchip connections -
has a little springloaded contact that wedges itself into the holes...

Subject: [MLB-WIRELESS] solderless ejtag for WRT54G

Hi all,

I'm looking at creating a solder-less ejtag cable for use on the WRT54G.
This should greatly help people who have truly bricked their routers,
without having to solder on a header connector to the circuit board.

I'm thinking that the way to do it would be to get a 12-pin header connector
and attach it to some sort of small clamp. You would then simply align the
header connector against the solder pads on the circuit board and clamp it
down. I'm looking for a small clamp that would be suitable - I suppose
nylon clamp pads on it are a must. I've looked around in tool shops and
there isn't much variety in clamp styles - I need something that clamps down
quite firmly, but doesn't screw the clamp pad itself in circles - it has to
be a straight down action.

Cheers,

Dan
