Hey mate,
1st step is to to work out if you can see one house from the other. Climb
on the roof and have a look. If you can't see becuase there is a big hill or
something in the way, then you will have hassles.
If you can see, then I'm sure that someone can lend you some gear to do a
simple test. Cheers.
Regards,
g at z.

Subject: [MLB-WIRELESS] setting up wireless network
Hi guys,
thanks for your comments and suggestions
in regards to 7km network from 1 house to a 2nd house.
i live in cranbourne ( fernhill avenue) and the other house is in devon
meadows (meadow road)
i believe it is about 7km's from the first house to the second house but
this is using the car to get there it could be closer as there are farm
paddocks separating us.
i signed up with melb wireless late last year but havent had the time to get
anything working, or didn't know who to ask to get the job done without
being ripped off. i am happy to offer services like money/bbq/grog to get
this working
if anyone is keen to help out please let me know.
thanks
steve trim
