[MLB-WIRELESS] Avaya Gold wireless card

hi, im hoping someone might be able to help me connecting a pigtail to a 
avaya gold wireless pc card.  i've got hold of a MC to N-male pigtail but on 
the avaya card where the external jack is meant to be has a plastic cover 
over it with a circle cut out.  Am i meant to just bash out the plastic 
cover to get to the external jack? or will that damage the card physically?
