Yes a native driver would be preferable, but no, I don't think anyone's
being conned.

I don't know whether the drivers are reliable as I haven't had enough of
a chance to use them. But its a pretty small piece of code running in a
pretty small wrapper. NDIS is a fairly well known API, and I don't
imagine them being too unreliable.

Yes. I could not have wireless access at all. Or have to fork over for
another card and lose a PCCard slot.

Indeed. Broadcom, the company, sucks, its a pity they're so popular. I
would have expected a lot more from Intel too. But in the meantime, I'll
use what I've got.
