[MLB-WIRELESS] Intel 2011 PCI carrier

Hi folks,

A possibly daft question, but I'm new to wireless.

Can the Intel 2011 PCI carrier (PCMCIA adapter) be used for *any* pcmcia card, 
or is it tied in some proprietary way to Intels own wireless card ?

Just that I'm looking at picking up a couple for $80, but don't want to be 
lumbered with something I can't use..
