My unobstructed view of Mount Dandenong (~10km LoS from node FXC) is now
obstructed by a blanket of light brown haze. I actually can't see beyond
4km in that direction now.. It reminds me of the bush fires, we had many
days here where the mount had disappeared like this..
Looks like a few trees around here haven't survived the wind either :(
If the BOM have issues (as of 3:55pm today) a wind warning for NW wings
averaging 70km/h with gusts up to 100km/h, we're in for some fun.. Who
wants to test how well they guyed their masts? ;)
FYI, BOM have also said winds will drop below 70km/h overnight..
