To confirm a point, SydneyWireless is a wireless news website. They do not
have a network, network units or members. SydneyWireless.com is (or was)
maintained by Duane (Evilbunny).
The Australian Wireless Association Inc. have some network units in Sydney
with connections by the general public. According to all regulations and
documentation we have read, everything is being done by the book. At CeBit
2003 we had various members of the ACA (Australian Communications Authority)
joining us on our stand throughout the 3 day event to assist in answering
peoples regulatory questions. This proved that both sides are more than
willing to work together to benefit everyone in the best possible way. I am
sure they wouldn't be putting their support behind and organisation (and the
community wireless movement in general) if they were about to go "killing
the operations".
