I use e-smith www.e-smith.org
It is based on Redhat, and works well as a router/email server/www server. It's workgroup functionality is excellent, and the easiest to configure that I have ever come across. It also can be configured for web mail. It is not GUI based, but is a little large.
or you can look at ipcop, www.ipcop.org
Ipcop is more specifically for routing, is very small, (can run on flash)

Subject: [MLB-WIRELESS] Which Linux distro do you recommend as a rounter
Hi all,
Is there a concensus as to which Linux distro to use as a router / NAT / DHCP server / firewall etc.
Don't need the full blown GUI / X -Windows / KDE / GNOME etc, just that it will be good enough
to have internet sharing (including a wireless network)
Cheers,
Joshua
