if you upgrade to the v2.5 firmware on the 900AP+ and there will be a
new option that lets you set the Tx power to 10, 13, 16, or 19dBm.

see my previous message, though, about bugs in v2.5 and the recent
discussion on the security hole (looks like anyone can flash upgrade a
DWL-900AP+ over the wireless interface without even a password).  the
two bugs i noticed were: 1. it seems to lose clients if it doesn't see
any packets from the for a while, and 2. it can't route packets between
two wireless clients.

one of these days, i'll downgrade back to v2.3 and see if the bugs
go away.  haven't had time to do that yet.
