Hi Tony.

My initial concern was to explore how many ways we can do network 
shortcutting (in the small world, partial mesh meaning) that are not 
wireless, and worry about price later...  knowing something is possible, 
but expensive, might stimulate people to think outside the box.

for example, the way apana works IIRC is individuals have dedicated 
second line modem to modem connections...  we can ideally set up a 
multi-medium network where several networking technologies interact  to 
give the best possible service...
