Just some vaguely interesting nerd trivia:
Although the DWL-520 generally works with newer machines by some bit of
luck it works very well using the hostap drivers on an Apple 6360/160,
quite an old machine (guess apple used the absoluete latest PCI chipsets
available at the time). Not quite the form factor of a dedicated access
point, but a new use running current software (debian/testing and kernel
2.4.19) for a smallish and solid linux based access point...
