[MLB-WIRELESS] transform Linksys WAP11 to Linksys DWL-900+

Hi Tom,
The ABS version was V1.
I have built v2 in a die cast box.
Stay away from the RPG die cast boxes, they don't seal well without a lot of
improvising. Jaycar have a better box.
If you want a bigger/better range of die cast boxes, speak to VMP electronics in
Dandenong.
On the Jaycar box, i think the screws were stainless (from memory).
Nope, i ended up making a rectifier/filter/regulator circuit and pumped 15v AC
up the spare 2 pairs on the CAT 5 cable.
Another reason for using die cast boxes is that they are great heatsinks -
especially useful
for regulators.
My aim is to be an AP for this area and have other people (in client mode - most
AP's can do this) connect to me.
Surface mount resistors are easy to get - most electronics shops have them.
Cheers,
Vaskos
