[MLB-WIRELESS] full vs half vs quarter wave.

Hi Folks,

 Got another one of my qestions...

 Is a full wave antenna any better than a half or quarter or eigth wave?

 If the wavelength of 2.4 gig is 125 mm, then that is not a really long
aerial. So why not make full wave length ones?

 Or have I got it wrong.....again..... :)
