I seem to recall a little incident where a service was promoted as having
certain attributes & users purchased the service on the assumption that what
they were getting was exactly as was promoted (as we subsequently discovered
this was not the case)

Then there have been many situations where customers could not be certain
they received true measure, despite assurances by the provider that a
reliable means of
checking would be provided

More recently we've seen the 'service guarantee' fiasco, with numbers fudged
in order to 'prove' the desired outcome

Countless more comparable episodes ... so many that it would be near
impossible to recall them all

The above all constitute 'misleading' in my book !!

I'm hoping that the relevant chickens come home to roost someday .... would
love to see that clown with the funny name lining up at Centrelink.
