[MLB-WIRELESS] Found 1 x S2406P Antenna

Guys,
      I've just been hunting around in one of our old junk rooms for old
laptops etc and found what appears to be this little beauty.

(in particular the s2406P model)

It's hanging off the end of the length of galvanised pole and appears to
have some lmr400 and a N-type connector I think. Looks ready to go!

I'm not too knowledgable about this sort of RF stuff but it states "gain
configurations and may be oriented for either vertical or horizontal
polarisation."
What does this mean? You can set it to recieve better from the horizontal
plane or vertical plane?

Might have to take it with one of the laptops down to the lake and see if I
can get a connection to Mr.Close with it :)

Anyone know how much would one of these be worth to buy normally? (rf
industries doesn't have the price list accessable without contacting them)
