Kevin,

Cheapest omni's around are the 1's you can make, though u need 2 be pretty handy
with a pair of cutters and a few hours to spare, currently myself and a few others
are working out a better more refined omni sizes and prices 2 be determined.

You can use a omni if you wish to provide access to yourself outdoors or to local 
people just don't expect to get 2 far without good line of sight. Around (5km-6km) 
with decent signal and LOS.

Issues araising from to many nodes in the 1 area is not a current problem, though
if to many nodes create such a hot spot then you could always change channels on
the card.

What's the cheapest omni's around atm?  Is it simply a case of getting
an omni instead of a directional to become a node?  Are there any issues
with having too many nodes in one area?  Oh, and how are people managing
