EISA is backward compat with ISA. ie: You can plug an ISA card into an
EISA slot. EISA is cool ;-)  But, it never really took off, you can
usually find it in older servers.. ie: Old HP Netservers (486/pentium era)
etc...

An EISA card will NOT go into an ISA slot. The EISA Slots are deeper than
the ISA's... If you have a look at an EISA card, there are two rows of
connectors.. the deeper ones are the extras.. an ISA card will sit in the
top row.. hence its backward compat. (easier to explain if you have
actually seen a card/slot) - if ppl are interested I'll post some pics on
a www site.
