Very interesting observation Adrian. I've noticed that too, there are a lot
of people who want things delivered to them on a silver platter....not just
sausages.
Not many seem to be interested in sourcing the sausages and other meat
products themselves. They prefer someone to come and say I can get sausages
at $4.99 a kilo, on a silver platter, who wants some.
Plus when someone pipes up and says, hey I can get you sausages, they say
okay, I want them yesterday, and by the way, get me half a dozen hamburgers
and some marinated chicken wings while you're at it. Even though there has
been no mention of hamburgers or chicken wings.

...catch my drift?

Some are good at what
you might call social engineering. Some people can burn sausages (like
me, at the first two BBQs where no-one else seemed interested in cooking,
only eating, which is an interesting comment on the group's mentality).
