[MLB-WIRELESS] OMNI Directional Antenna's

How wide is the distance on the Omni Antenna's, i'm new to all this so i dont know much. But my dads office is in Kew and its a very tall Building so i was thinking of Sticking a Omni Antenna on top for a Permenant Node for people around that area.

Also does anyone know where i can get a Tutorial on making an Omni Antenna? (Must be a kind of easy guide coz i'm a n00b)
