[MLB-WIRELESS] Rojone Omni and 3km link

Hi,
For those of you that saw the Rojone omni I had at the meet the other
day, we (geelong wireless) managed to get a 3km link on the weekend.
The other end had a 18dbi (i think) directional and Andy Freeman's
modified compaq WL400 access point,  while I was stuck up a 50 foot pole
holding a mobile phone in one hand and a laptop in the other and the
8dbi Rojone Omni on top of the mast.

It's not a permanent solution yet, but at least we know it's going to 
work!
