I am and have been having similar problems and have been in discussion
with D-Link technicians.
I should have some XP wireless fragmentation settings to recommend
shortly that will hopefully resolve the issue.
DO NOT install the latest firmware on the dlink.com.au site (260b1a) as
it killed my unit and then special downgrade formware is needed.

Anyone had an experience with dlink di-713p wireless broadband gateway
router? Mine just keep dropping connection every 30+ seconds. The cards
on the both laptops worked ok when I set both to peer to peer.

One laptop (Compaq armada 1700, Win2k) had Cabletron card and roamabout
client and the other (Toshiba portege 4000, winXP) had Toshiba mini
wireless card.

Could the radio in the dlink device be RS (rat shit)? Or is there some
config I have over looked. I tested with wep enabled and disabled as
well.

BTW how does one change the channel in win2k?

Many thanks
Rob
