  Made myself a canteena yesterday, I used a Golden Circle pineapple juice tin (85mm x 175mm). To connect the canteena to the Cabletron card pigtail, I used a 10m (didn't have any shorter) LM400 cable. 

   

  2 Laptops were used for testing.  

              1 x Toshiba Portege 4000 PIII 750 256MB ram, Windows XP Pro with driver version 7.44 installed. Canteena was attached to this PC

              1 x Compaq Armada 1700 PII 266 96MB Ram, Windows 2000 Pro with driver version 7.44 installed
