I have accessed to a device that will send a test signal of 650mW for testing
purposes yes.. :)

Only problem is u need a constant carrier source to drive em, and usually
need around 1w for most swr meters.
Anyone got a 2.4 sig-gen and power amp?

A SWR meter would be handy (I'd love a network analyser myself, but they're
megabucks :( ). We also need a low cost, but accurate field strength meter
before we can start to think about gain testing (since antenna gain
measurements require field strength measurements).
