you need to edit /etc/rc.conf. Have a look at /etc/defaults/rc.conf and
man rc.conf for more info. You may also need to set
pccard_ifconfig="YES" in rc.conf.

Subject: [MLB-WIRELESS] ip addressing in freebsd
Hi all
I have a 3 com LAN card and an élan cradle with the $60 wireless
card running FreeBSD 4.6. My problem is that although I have a permanent
ip address for the 3 com LAN card I can't get one for the wireless card
I can set it each time the system reboots. Can anyone tell me which file
I need to edit to make it permanent.
Regards Pat
