System Administration Support

The Position
------------
Enthusiastic person is required for
part-time work assisting disabled system administrator. Working hours
and conditions are flexible. The successful candidate will have a
solid background in IT, preferably having completed (or in the
process) a Computer Science (or related) degree. You will be an
excellent written and verbal communicator as well possessing previous
experience in System Administration. High profile clients ensure
timely results and as such, the succesful applicant will be a focused
and results driven individual. You will as part of a team an ensure
that projects are delivered in a timely and professional manner. If

Experience
----------
The succesful application will have a good technical understanding of
the following major operating systems:
* RedHat 7.0, 7.1, 7.2
* Debian Potato

Additionally, the incumbent will have had experience with many of the
following scripting/programming environments:
* MySQL, Perl, Bash, AWK, expect, C, in addition to
* A solid understanding of network setup and administration, including
an understanding of DHCP, DNS, RSYNC, RC.FIREWALL, IPTABLES, and HTTPD

Salary:

Pay $16.78 per hour + superannuation
