I'll be building a yagi over the next few days (break from work == good :)
I'll put the info up on a www site when its finished, complete with test
results
As a first shot I'm going to try using 75mm gal pipe, 3/8" threaded rod and
aluminimum tube + washers. This aint as cheap as a pringles can, but I'm
hoping will give better results.

This information is technically accurate.

1.25 *guide* wavelengths or longer is great, 0.75 *guide* wavelengths
is adequate.
