[MLB-WIRELESS] Putting antenna on high-roofed townhouse

I've got a D-link DWL-520 on order, and am looking forward
to getting a wireless connection going.
I live in a 3-story townhouse with a steep, so once I clear
the roofline I expect the line of sight will be pretty good in at least
some directions. There seems to be a cluster of people in
the area nearby who are either interested or actively building
nodes, so if I can get my node going a lot of people should
be able to reach it. However, the bad news is that because it's
a 3-story townhouse with a steep roof I dunno how the
heck I can get up to mount anything on it.
The TV antenna is mounted on a mast attached a beam
running across the balcony on the second story, and
doesn't clear the roofline (luckily, the roof
doesn't block Mt. Dandenong :) ). I suppose it would
be possible to mount something in a similar manner, but
I'm not sure that standard TV antenna masts would be tall
enough to clear the roofline, and whether a mast tall enough
to do so would put too much stress on the wood it's mounted
in.
It seems that I need somebody with skills and experience in
antenna mounting to come and have a look at the situation.
Is there somebody in Melbourne Wireless who can do these sorts
of jobs?
