I have to agree. One of the purposes of this network should be to
experiment (well, as far as I'm concerned, I'd like to see it that way).
Hmm, "ham networking"? ;-) IPV6 is the better long term prospect. The days
of IPv4 are numbered, though it will exist in pockets for a very long time
on an IPv6 infrastructure in the future.
Hey, let's get involved and have a play with IPv6, and maintain support for
IPv4 as well. Sounds like fun to me (and a bloody good reason I should get
into the WLAN ;) ).
So which protocol? Both, of course :)
