[MLB-WIRELESS] WAN

Hello,

I'm new to this list, and WAN in general.  Had a look at the website and
the faq.  What's the size of the WAN in Melbourne so far?  Also, what
sort of resources have people made available to each other?  From what I
could gather it is not connected to the internet yet...have people made
game servers, web pages, ftp or anything like that?

Ie, why would someone connect to it?  (besides the fact that it sounds
very cool :)
