Exactly, no point delving into backbones and routing etc too deeply when we
don't have the basics to start off with yet :-p

I think the best thing to do is get AP's setup all about the place with
people connecting to whichever one they can.  Then working out which AP's
have a LOS to eachother and looking at creating a backbone between then.

Eventually it will be obvious who will be hosting the major backbones based
on how things begin to pan out.
I'm sure during the initial setup stages people will understand that there
will be occasional downtime while things are reconfigured or rebuilt.
