[MLB-WIRELESS] 'Passive' repeater

Funnily enough, all the solutions described so far, are classified as 'active'
not 'passive'. They all require power of some form, and $$$.

It is possible to use 2 tuned antennae to create a passive repeater. You have
one decent directional antenna pointing at node X, then a short run of good coax
to another decent directional pointing at node Y.

This is reported to have good results in a whole load of HAM stuff (at lower
frequencies.

I am unsure of the effectivness of the solution on 802.11b at 2.4Ghz, but it's
definately worth a shot before you go running out to buy an AP.
