I have a copy - it's interesting reading and has lots of construction projects but unfortunately (and
I don't know why they do this) they just give dimensions for one or two frequencies and don't provide
the formulae for deriving dimensions for other frequencies.
It's mainly all for freq's much lower than ours as well :-(
They do give formulae for helicals so you can cross check Jason's maths and also give details for
corner reflectors which look very effective and easy to build
I think a better investment for the group would be their VHF/UHF experimenters book (don't know Aust
source - WIA ?) or the Pommie equivalent, Tony promised to recommend one about four months ago but
now that he is a celebrity ....
If you want to borrow my copy let me know - it's been along to all the barbies - also have Building
Community Wireless Networks by Flickenger which is a great intro
To keep you going I've had mucho correspondence with these eccentric Pommie ratbag Hams who have some
*great*pages on 2.4GHz antennas and are trez responsive to questions from the Colonies
