hmmmm i wouldn't think 30mW would matter
I thought the majority of cards are 30mW and from what I have read people
have no problems transmitting over 15kms and more?

The D-Link access point isn't too bad because there is a very simple
external antenna hack for it.  Nice easy mast mountable access point then :)

Yep, anything but Dlink.  They are only 30mW and don't
make the distance.  No external antenna point either.
