Gday All
I just spoke with David Saab and I'll try to summarise the
conversation. He's a guy who started an ISP as a student and
then sold out to a public company this was in Perth and he's now
based in Heidelberg
Seems to be a small company (3 bodies plus contractors?) and
they are an ebusiness incubator specialising in startups. Ga Vin
Lee is now on Hols but he was deputised to find out what we were
up to. The interest seems to be that they think open source and
wireless is "the next big thing" and they are keeping in touch
with emerging trends.
As it happens in the course of the conversation I seem to have
sold him my services to design some business cards (sorry
commerce crept in) so I'm actually visiting them tomorrow and if
I find out anything else interesting I'll post
I told him a bit about the group while stressing that this was
just my opinion as one member and invited him to subscribe to
the list, check out the website, mentioned the Age article and
suggested he stay in touch and attend the next meeting to get a
better idea of what we were about.
Kind Regards
Nick Sibbing
