I recall seeing straps going to ground off antenna masts when I was there.
The mast has to be grounded with 20mm^2 cable to earth.
This way the ground will be far more attractive than the 50ohm cable and
it's high impedance input at the other end and the lightning will be
ferried away with no agro.
