That is a very good price, paid around $300 for mine.  It works quite
well, initial setup has to be done on a windows machine, but network
setup is done via a web interface, so not OS dependent.

It is removable, but it needs a special connector on the pigtail you use
with it.  Dunno if it's a reverse SMA, though.  See Vaskos, he'll be
able to set you up with a piggie.
