For a while now the guys in Australia have been running a nation wide 
IRC network linking up different groups and their wireless networks to 
each other. Last week saw the introduction of international groups into 
the network with guys from consume, freenetworks, bcwireless, and hwug, 
among others linking up as well.

To jump on the network and see wireless guys chatting as far as the eye 
can see, simply point your IRC client to /server freenetworks.org or any 
of the other local groups linked in (type /list after you connect to 
find a more localised server).
