Hello vak,
Tyson asked steve to forward me contact details on where you guys got
yours from and nothing to date has been forth coming, besides there is
a bigger picture, royalty free data has a lot of commercial benefit, so
I was hoping to pick help up from that sector once we had the ball
rolling... I'm not looking at this for short term gain, there is a lot
of people community wise out there that could use free data, a person
emailed me the other week looking for data to map out some community
events that happen regularish world wide... I'm sure once it was out
there, there would no doubt be a lot of demand for it... Current data
is at the whim of commercial enterprise and government, at least the
US govt gives out decent free data sets in the US... most mapping data
sets are derived and collated by a government body in Australia...
